Ensuring the robustness of critical infrastructure in order to defend the national security requires the use of the state of the art technologies for sustaining and enhancing large amount of data. Updating code in legacy embedded systems requires a well stablished verification and validation process during the system integration phase. On the other hand, new methods and techniques are provided every day by the academia offering to the industry new capabilities and tools to creating brand new resilient software-intensive systems.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Focusing on the state of the practice the Industry Track at DSN brings together industry and academia in a venue that highlights new challenges, encountered obstacles on applying novel solutions, findings (both positive and negative) and real world lessons learned on dependable systems and networks operation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Industry contributions to the DSN scientific community are welcome to address any dependability issue related to either the development process or operation of critical systems as seen from industrial perspective.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Submission Guidelines<br \/>\n<\/strong>Contributions are accepted in two formats:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Short paper<\/strong> shall emphasize lessons learned from the practice of dependability; present a problem definition, its importance, the strengths and weaknesses of adopted solution, and challenges for improvement. Papers must be written in English and have 3 to 4 pages (<a title=\"IEE format\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ieee.org\/conferences_events\/conferences\/publishing\/templates.html\" target=\"_blank\">IEEE double-column format<\/a>). Papers must be submitted in their final form. Oral presentation is required for selected papers.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Poster<\/strong> shall address dependability aspects of either a product or service offered to the market; trade-offs analysis are encouraged. An abstract summarizing the POSTER content (750 words \u2013 free format) must be submitted. A Poster template will be available for the selected abstracts.
