Ap\u00f3s a elucida\u00e7\u00e3o das estruturas, os nanomateriais ser\u00e3o empregados em processos de adsor\u00e7\u00e3o dos diversos contaminantes em \u00e1gua, iniciando-se com os surfactantes. Ser\u00e3o realizados estudos da cin\u00e9tica de adsor\u00e7\u00e3o com o intuito de se descrever o modelo matem\u00e1tico para predizer o processo de adsor\u00e7\u00e3o. Paralelamente, estudos de c\u00e1lculo te\u00f3rico e de modelagem molecular ser\u00e3o desenvolvidos buscando conhecer mais a fundo as for\u00e7as e os modos de intera\u00e7\u00e3o entre o nanoadosrvente e os materiais adsorvidos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Al\u00e9m disso, experimentos visando \u00e0 reciclagem do nanoadsorvente ser\u00e3o realizados, para que este material possa ser utilizado in\u00fameras vezes, reduzindo o custo de processo. Em um segundo momento, ser\u00e1 desenvolvido um sistema para adsor\u00e7\u00e3o em fluxo cont\u00ednuo em escala piloto, onde ser\u00e3o avaliados par\u00e2metros como quantidade de nanoadsorvente, vaz\u00e3o de \u00e1gua contendo surfactante, pH, entre outros. Al\u00e9m dos surfactantes, planeja-se investigar a adsor\u00e7\u00e3o de metais pesados como Pb, Cr e Co, bem como, de compostos org\u00e2nicos t\u00f3xicos como pesticidas, corantes, entre outros.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Adicionalmente, a efici\u00eancia do nanomaterial filtrante ser\u00e1 avaliada a partir de ensaios biol\u00f3gicos com microrganismos, analisando-se par\u00e2metros de diminui\u00e7\u00e3o da toxicidade de metais pesados e compostos org\u00e2nicos t\u00f3xicos. Por fim, ser\u00e3o feitos ensaios de adsor\u00e7\u00e3o de contaminantes em \u00e1guas com amostras reais, a efici\u00eancia do nanomaterial filtrante ser\u00e1 verificada em situa\u00e7\u00f5es que ocorrem na natureza.
