Sunday, 16 July 2017 we will have a reception party from 7 to 9 pm at the University.
Tuesday, 18 July 2017, at Carlton Plaza Hotel the traditional wine and cheese party will take place from 7:30 to 9:30 pm. All attendees are encouraged to bring one or two bottles of wine from their own region. This has become a very popular ISTA tradition, and gives everyone a good way to meet others, and experience new wines.
Wednesday, 19 July 2017 registered ISTA 18 attendees and guests will have the opportunity to enjoy a visit to the Quilombo Farm, traditional coffee farm 15 min from the symposium location. The visit will include a special lunch featuring many traditional foods such as barbecued ribs, and a variety of beverages. The visit is programmed from 11 am to 5 pm, and you will have an opportunity to explore this historic farm, with its commanding view over the city of Limeira.
Thursday, 20 July 2017 participants of ISTA18 are all invited to dance, eat and drink traditional food and beverages from the countryside. A big FESTA JUNINA will be held at the Carlton Plaza Hotel from 7:30 to 11:30 pm. Festive hats will be available for all attendees, and jeans and shirt in country style are very appropriate for this type of party. “Forró” and “typical quadrilha” will be organized and all participants are invited.
